Visa Regulations
In the Cook Islands, nobody is entitled
to an entry, work permit or residence.
The Cook Islands, under any circumstances,
does not issue any Visa. Iinstead, what is
generally required is either a travellers
entry permit or an exemption for an entry
permit.
Entry Permit Excemptions
An entry permit is not required by any
nationality who enters as a bona-fide
visitor. This means for recreation purposes,
holiday, exploring investment opportunities,
business meetings, exhibitions, conferences
and sports activities.
Hwever, an extension of stay beyond 31
days is only available to people who are on
holiday or for recreation purposes.

Onward ticket and proof of funds
All visitors to Cook Islands may be
subject to show proof of funds to cover
travel expenses, proof of a valid travel insurance and an onward ticket out of
the country.
